Okay here it is. My filing cabinet round up. Since last week I got my approval to get out of the Navy in August, my biggest thing to do around this house is to get everything organized in order to move. We will move to WI and I want to make sure I don't have extra stuff!
Anywho...here is what it looked like before...
Now for the after. I cleaned up everything and put where it belongs. Of course I have also filed everything in it's appropriate spot! So here is the after...
Here are all my files. After going through a pile that I filled up an entire brown bag and a half full of stuff I need to shred I organized into a filing bucket that I bought from Office Max. When going through my stuff I kind of stick to the way I do it in the Navy. I only keep the current year and two years before. This of course does not apply to taxes and other important things. I thought they were on sale...but alas it was not. But I knew I wanted organization, so I broke down and bought it. That green thingy...bought that from Target on sale and that just has the stuff that I use on any given day, while the rest of the file box holds things I really don't need to look at on a monthly basis. I even used a label maker to make my labels all nice and pretty :)
We are the Kilowatt Household. I am currently a SAHM getting our house organized. We have two kiddos, with a third on the way. Sparky and I are busy people that enjoy the outdoors and working with our hands.
A 10 year old imaginative, artistic, sporty girl. Honor Roll student that loves school. Although like every girl she has her drama moments where we just let her have ‘em and she gets over it. She is a great big sister and a wonderful daughter!
He’s 6. He is wired and nutty! Constantly going, his little mind it’s hard to get him to slow down! He loves reading and we can't get him to stop! Any day in our house we have a Transformer, Power Ranger, and sometimes even a race car. He drives his sister crazy but loves her like crazy!

Great job! Everything looks awesome.
I entered you in my contest and I love your organization post, good luck.
Yay! I love the look of a freshly orgnized desk. (Of course, as I type this my computer armoire is so full of junk that I can't see the bottom of my computer screen! :-)
Ah. It feels so good to purge. I really should have participated in the round-up this month. My stuff is a mess.
Awesome, it looks great and I'm sure you are much relieved to have it done!
Thanks for joining in :)

That's great you were able to dispose of the filing cabinet. More space. Yea!
