Overwhelming and Amazing...

I am in DC now. Keeping pretty busy, I have to admit. I have gotten lost numerous times. Have you seen this place?!

I am here for a couple of weeks working. It's an honor to be in such a place, honestly it is. I just had lunch with a friend and she pointed out to me where that plane hit the building. Crazy how life has changed so much in 9 years. Yet 9 years does not seem that long ago.

Well back to work I go...assuming I don't get lost doing it!

Am I the only one?

Here is the deal. Don't know if there is anyone out there who does this. But I will say that being a working mom of two kids I thought it was funny enough to post about.

I have my "soccer mom" van as many of people like to call. When work starts on Monday it usually looks like this...

Well by Friday. It looks like this...

Needless to say this is the way life has always been for me. I just get in the car throw things in the seat next to me and then at the end of the week I collect it all. It's sad. But I figure everyday I just want to get in the house and take my uniform off and get into comfy clothes. Yet I wonder why the kids don't clean their stuff out of the car....

YEAH MOM!

Well I just thought if there was anyone out there that reads this that does the same thing...then I don't feel alone. LOL! ;)
